Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6th July 2026

This site, Mindset | Method | Momentum (mindsetmethodmomentum.com), is a personal publication. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit or subscribe, how it's used, and the rights you have over it. It's written with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) in mind.

The person responsible for your data (the "data controller") is Paul Worthington / CXPLUS Limited, contactable at info@mindsetmethodmomentum.com.

What this site collects

If you subscribe: your email address, and your name if you choose to give it. This is stored so the site can send you new posts and updates.

If you contact me: whatever you include in your message (for example your email address and the content of what you send).

Automatically, when you visit: standard technical information such as your browser type, device, approximate location and pages viewed. This is used only to understand, in aggregate, how the site is being read. This site presently does not use any analytics package.

The site does not sell your data, and does not share it for advertising.

How the information is used

Your information is used to:

  • send you the newsletter and new posts you subscribed to;
  • reply to messages you send;
  • understand overall readership so the writing can improve;
  • keep the site secure and working.

The lawful bases relied on are your consent (for the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time) and legitimate interests (running and securing a small publication).

Cookies

The site uses a small number of essential cookies needed for it to function and to keep you signed in if you're a member.

Who else processes your data

Running the site relies on a few trusted providers who process data on its behalf:

  • Ghost(Pro) — the platform the site and subscriber list run on.
  • Mailgun, the default Ghost package — to send newsletters.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside the UK/EU; where they do, they're expected to provide appropriate safeguards for your information.

How long it's kept

Subscriber information is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask for your data to be deleted, it will be removed within 30 days, except where something must be retained for legal reasons.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data is held about you and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • object to or restrict how it's used;
  • withdraw consent at any time (every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link).

To exercise any of these, email [info@mindsetmethodmomentum.com]. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
