Mindset | Method | Momentum is an independent publication about why things work, and why they so often don't — whether that's for a person, a team or a whole organisation.

The idea started on a napkin in 2016. I got as far as launching this site in 2023, then did a rather good impression of the very thing it warns about and let it stall. It's properly going now. Make of that what you will.

The short version: getting anywhere takes a clear mindset, a decent method, and the momentum to start and keep going. The world tends to sell you the method — the book, the video, the pitch, the programme — because the method is the bit you can package. The other two are usually where things actually fall down. If you want the full argument, start with the manifesto: Knowing the method isn't enough.

Having some fun along the way

The style here is informal, non-preachy and on the lighter side, while still trying to be useful. Some of it serious, some of it not. If you don't like what you read, move on 😉
